Darwin to Melbourne, no dates in winter?

Postby tangledantler » Mon Jul 10, 2017 1:16 pm

I'm interested in the north to south tours as I really want to see the outback, but I noticed there are no tours between October and April... What is the reason for that? Is that just a bad time to go, or too hot? I was hoping to go during the cold Canadian winter.

Too hot - gets to 40+ in the Northern Territory in the summer. Is also the wet season so roads will be closed up north etc as well.
