Hi Julie good to hear from you. I am travelling from Merseyside. I am really starting to look forward to this trip and there are some useful tips on the various pages on the go adventure site that I've picked up! Not too far away now.

Hi Glynis, I am travelling from Australia. As much as I am looking forward to travelling to the Antarctic I am also looking forward to meeting the many people cruising together. And now looking forward to putting a face to your messages. I feel like I have been waiting for this trip forever as I booked it last year....Cheers, Julie

Hi Vonny and Glynis, I am also spending a couple of nights in BA before heading down south and then at Iguazu Falls before I head back to Aus. Maybe we will end up meeting in BA before the cruise :) Glynis I am from the south of Aus in country Victoria and my favourite place in the UK is Stratford-Upon- Avon. There is a Pop-Up Globe Theatre in Melbourne for a couple of months, so I am off for a bit of Shakespeare at the end of October. My Spanish is limited to what I am learning from the Duolingo app. There are a few things I have yet to sort...so looking forward to a holiday. Cheers, Julie

Nice to meet you all !!!!

I wanted to go to Iguazu Falls but saw that it's far far from Buenos city so I've changed plan to fly from Toronto to Chile instead. Check Out Iguazu Falls and try to snowboard for 2 days in Chile. still trying to find info for the ski resorts with no luck so far.

Post links for Iguazu tour info that you found please and thank you !!!!!

Hi both. I arrive in BA on the 6th Feb and am staying at the Carles Hotel for 2 nights then flying down to Ushuaia on the 8th arriving at 1250. Coming back I travel back to BA and the same hotel for 1 night then fly up to Puerto Iguazu on the 22nd. I’ve got 2 nights at the La Cantera Jungle Lodge on Iguazu and while there include a full day at the falls from both sides. On the 24th I fly to Rio staying at the Windsor Excelsior until the 27th. Including in this is a full day jeep tour of Rio. I am so looking forward to this and meeting up with you guys and others on the trip.

Won’t be long........

Glynis

PS I know NOT a word of Spanish!!!!

Julie - I travelled NZ year before last and there was a pop up Globe there. It was brill to watch Shakespeare in that space and outdoors on a lovely evening.

Hi all.

Has anyone purchased their travel insurance including emergency evacuation ? if so please send company name. I haven't been able to find any proper online links.

Thanks !

My insurance covers it and it’s not specific for emergency evacuation. But why not ask the question in the forum for Antartica if you haven’t already. Previous travellers may be able to assist if there’s not a connected post already! Just a thought.
