When to do EBC??

I am looking to do Everest Base Camp trip this year but would like some advice on when is the best time to go? I was thinking September / October time.
Any advice?

Generally September to November is the ideal time - the monsoon is finished and the air is clearest for the amazing scenery. March/April is also a consideration - flowers are in bloom making the fields beautiful and you get to see basecamp in all its bustling glory as this is generally when all the climbing teams arrive for their attempts of Everest.

I went the first couple of weeks in October. Weather was overcast and a bit drizzly until Namche, then was beautiful. Cool at night, and basecamp day was about -5C and light snow. Definately got some spectacular views!

yes October is v nice - but its still bloody cold up there partic at night - take warm clothes and a 4 season bag
