Re: Bangkok to Cambodia
I'm doing exactly the same tour then on to Cambodia after!
It's a really easy route, there is a train straight from Bankok station at 05:55 every day and arriving Aranyaprathet on the boarder to Cambodia at 11:35. It's only 48 baht which is about £1 and there is no reservation needed you can turn up and buy a ticket. You then can walk straight across into Cambodia and there are loads of taxis and tuk tuks waiting to take you into Siem Reap.
It's the cheapest easiest way. Just make sure you have $20 and a passport photo for the Visa on the border. From Siem Reap you can either get a bus or the speedboat down to Phenom Phen.
For a step by step use this link to a really handy website!
