Africa calling! Would be nice to hear from people who have similar plans I'm 28 year old woman from Finland and this will be my third G tour. Coming as a solo traveller.

Cool I have already booked the tour and bought flights so I guess that I'm really going Flight to Cape Town 7th of March and after tour I'm flying to Johannesburg for 2 nights and then fly back home from there.

I'm also looking at the alternate reversed itinerary... decisions decisions! Thoughts? I saw your kili youtube video the other day. Pretty cool.

Thanks! It was 2010 when I was in Kilimanjaro (own trip, not from G Adv.) and I stayed in Tanzania about 5,5 weeks doing also other stuff Safaris, Zanzibar, volunteering + other smaller trips.

I also thought which one is better option: this or Livingstone-Cape Town. I got better flights this way so thats why this one was my choice. Easier for me this way. And also little bit less hours in plane after tour because as I mentioned I'm flying from Livingstone to Johannesburg. Stay there couple of days relaxing and then fly back to Finland. No other thoughts

I think I like this option better because it saves all the awesome game viewing towards the end. I'll likely arrive on the 8th. That'll give me a couple days to checkout cage diving for sharks if there are enough interests.

Cage diving sounds exciting I think I'm gonna do some kinda tour around Cape Town. Cape of good hope, Boulders beach and so on. Have you booked the tour?

I am going to be on the Cape Town to Nairobi trip that sets off on march the tenth. This is my first G Adventures trip so I am not sure how it works but it looks like CT to N is a combination of DDF and another so we might be travelling together for a while...

Just need to book flights now and work out if I want to spend a few days in Cape Town before the tour!

mossi, yes I think we will be in the same tour for awhile First tour ends when we're in Livingstone and you continue after that. I've been in Tanzania (Ngorongoro, Zanzibar...) and Kenya before so thats why I took only this shorter tour

I will be in Cape town 7th-10th and thinking about relaxing and some day tours around city Have booked flights long time ago and accommondation also.

Where are u from and how old are u? This will be my third G adventure

I am 27, a guy and from the UK. I spent some time in Madagascar a couple of years ago but mainland Africa is totally new to me. I thought I might as well do the longest tour I could!

I only get in on the 8th but am already pretty excited! No idea what to do in Cape Town yet but I guess Table Mountain and shark cage diving have to be options.

I'm planning to do hike in Table mountain and Cape Point&Peninsula tour Table mountain maybe 8th of March and another one in 9th. I have asked about those tours from different companys. Btw, would be nice to do whale watching but timing is not good but what can you do about it.

Trip is already veryvery near and I'm getting nervous every time I actually start thinking about it. One corner of my livingroom is full of my travelling stuff. Soon I can start packing, eek!
