linens etc
this seems random but it has been bugging me as I try to determine what size of luggage to get and what all I can bring in it. On the ship are we provided with linens such as towels and sheets or do we bring those ourselves. I know stupid question but Im completely clueless when it comes to trvelling and especially with something like this..

THINK HOTEL with everything provided that any normal hotel provides---however, this "hotel" even provides some great meals as well all on the same tab!

Re: linens etc
Does that include shampoo, soaps, etc? I was under the impression that those amenities were not provided.
Thanks!
Thanks!

These items were provided on the trip I took...stuff you would normally find in a hotel or motel...no toothpaste, shave cream, stuff to make you smell good, etc. included!!!

They give you a list of suggested items in the Trip Details brochure. As far as camera equipment goes, I took the following:
All of the above plus my travel notes about Argentina and Antarctica, spare batteries for the cameras, iPod nano and about 120 GB in memory chips fit in my wheeled duffel bag carry-on.
I ended up not using the Tamron 10-24 at all and the Sony HD Handycam only once -- definitely not worth the weight or encumbrance.
- Canon EOS Rebel T2i
Canon 100-400 mm zoom
Tamron 18-270 mm zoom
Tamron 10-24 mm zoom
Canon Powershot A2200 (backup point-and-shoot)
Sony HD Handycam
HP TX2-1020US tablet PC (for transferring photos and writing up trip notes)
AMOD GPS logger
12 rechargeable AAA batteries
battery recharger
power supplies and cables for the above
