CRA questions
Just wondering about safety and security. Would it be safe to bring an iPad along? I bring it everywhere now as an e reader. ARe there times when bags are left unattended, if so, how are the secured?
I'm really looking forward to this trip either January 2013, or December 2013 depending on work!!!

Re: CRA questions
Things are very safe. You generally take your own transport everywhere, so the vehicle is locked whenever you stop somewhere. I wouldn't take it to Rara Avis as the cabins do not lock - the majority of your luggage will be left securly in town and you will only take a day pack, so I would leave it with the main luggage.
As far as hotel rooms, get a small lock for your pack and lock the ipad inside when you're leaving for the day and don't need it.
Hope that helps. It's a fun trip, enjoy!

Re: CRA questions
Excellent! I went in April and had great weather - March should be the same.

I'm going on this on the 28th December, can't wait! Was just wondering what sort of age range there was on the trip?

Re: CRA questions
G trips are pretty varied and it's hard to predict what sort of age range you'll have. My group was on the younger side - definately the youngest group I have travelled with. Myself and another girl were in our 30's, the remainder of the group (including CEO) were in their mid to late 20's.
I took a G trip to Peru and a couple in their 60's on the trip had been on CRA as well. They said that while they were the oldest on their trip, the majority were in their 30's and 40s'.

Re: CRA questions
Cool. I was on a G trip during the summer and most people were in there 20's and 30's so was hoping it would be a similar age range. I'm sure it will be good regardless though.
