India nov-jan
Hello
My name is Lottie, I'm 19 and from London. I am booked on three different tours in India:
Spiritual India (13th nov)
Discover India (28th nov)
Best of Southern India (18th dec)
It's my first time traveling solo and also my first visit to India, but I am SO excited. If anyone is doing any of these tours and fancy's saying a little hello, then that would be lovely.

What a great trip you have planned inspectorbear. You are so lucky to be able to spend that amount of time in India. I hope you give us a full report when you return.
Buen viaje!

Re: India nov-jan
You will love it.
If you have not pre-arranged an airport to taxi transfer with GAdventures then beware the taxi scams at airports. Particularly aimed at young single female travellers.
There will be a pre-pay taxi office inside the terminal. Use it. They will then take you to trusty taxi outside.
Always insist on going to the hotel you have booked, no other. If you go outside you will be besieged to get in any old taxi. Once in, you are off on your drive, then the driver will suggest he rings to verify your hotel booking because it is full he will say.
Then he rings his mate/brother and tells you "Sorry, no booking for you. Must be a mistake." When you speak to his brother you will be told same.
And off you go into the wild dark yonder, to be told Delhi is all booked up because of festival and you have to go to Agra where the only hotel is. Then next day you have to go to Jaipur, because festival means hotel booked out.
Pretty soon you have done the Golden Triangle tour unwittingly, at a rate of about $600.
Apart from that, you're going to enjoy India, but stick with the group or friends and do expect to be scammed. It's fun.
