GAP shirts

Postby spanishgirl » Tue Aug 30, 2011 4:09 pm

Hello all,

Does anybody know if it's possible to purchase GAP shirts like the guides wear? I really would like a couple!

Thanks

I won a GAP contest and got a really nice GAP shirt. That might be the only way. We asked our tour leader last month in Africa and I don't think they sell them.

Um, gosh, with the name change and all there must be a pile of clothing that can't be used. I'm sure some of us would love to take it off your hands. I can even arrange pick-up. I will be in Toronto tomorrow. What time should I drop by? 8)

so time has passed since the previous posts about clothing. I've just been on an amazing trip to New Zealand with Gadventures... everyone on the trip was asking how to get the "tshirts", any thoughts on these being available for purchase???... perhaps as a fund raiser for the local charities you are collecting money for?

Our CEO said it was company policy to keep the shirts to CEOs only. I can understand that as they probably don't want anyone passing themselves off as a CEO but I suggested to him (to raise up to the company) that they have a special class of G Adventures Client shirts. Specifically, I told him they should have shirts with a map or outline of Australia and then keep plastic templates and fabric paint pens so clients could buy the shirt, trace out the route for the tour segment they did, and maybe have people on the tour sign the shirt.

I still think G should have client shirts for sale. I love the bamboo GAP shirt I got from a contest several years ago.

If you don't already, I recommend following G on Facebook or Twitter. They sometimes have contests and give away a G t-shirt as a prize. I know, because I won one! :)

<sigh> I wish there were other ways to win one. I don't do either Facebook or Twitter and won't.
