Backpack or Duffel bag to Turkey?

We are doing the Absolute Turkey trip in Sept/Oct. Would a backpack or duffel bag be best? Don't know how much lugging around we'll have to do.

I went on ETTE Turkey which is almost the same and I took a normal sized suitcase with no problems. All we usually had to do was to get it to/from our rooms from the hotel lobby. No worries, we had 11 people and we all fit with our gear into our van. I say go with what you are comfortable with, make sure to leave a little room to bring home some trinkets and you will be fine. Have a blast!
