Should I take my laptop?
I am going on the absolute Peru trip, the trip info says there are internet cafes everywhere, I don't know if the hotels have wi-fi or if they have computers for the guests to use. Should I bring my laptop?

I'm not planning on taking mine - will take iPhone for wifi use and then use internet cafes... well that's if I even have time to even think about getting online!

Re: Should I take my laptop?
I have done the Absolute Peru tour - a couple of years back now so i dont know if the hotels stay the same - but no computers and no wifi in any them as far as i can remember. (It may have changed though) They are very basic (but still comfortable) hotels.
However internet cafes everywhere. But Like jonathan says - far too much going on to waste too much time in internet caf's!!
Its still one of my bestest favouritest trips ever!!!!
Have fun.

Hi! I have to agree with Zulieka there is no need for a laptop on this tour. When you do have time to use the internet there will be internet cafes around to use. I remember being able to use the internet in Lima, Puno, and Cuzco without any problems.
