Win a Planeterra Voluntour to Costa Rica!
Planeterra is giving away a Voluntour to Costa Rica to help with the sea turtles!
All you have to do is tell us a story. If you've got a great travel story to tell, send it in to TrueStories@BudgetTravel.com by August 28, 2009 for your chance to win a Planeterra Voluntour trip for two to Costa Rica!
Each Budget Travel Magazine issue includes a section entitled True Stories. Readers are encouraged to send in their funny, strange, heartwarming, ridiculous (brief 250-word) stories from their own travel. The editors pick the best story, and the winner receives a trip! For the summer issue, Planeterra is giving away a trip for two on Project Costa Rica, including airfare. The winner will be featured in a fall issue, and will be asked to write about their trip, to be featured in a later issue. Get story-writing guidlines
To submit your story email Budget Travel: TrueStories@BudgetTravel.com or send by mail to:
True Stories, Budget Travel, 530 7th Ave., New York, NY, 10018
Trip Overview:
Spend 5 days volunteering on a Sea Turtle Conservation Project as part of your Costa Rican Adventure.
Volunteer activities include night patrols along the beach, data collection, beach clean-ups, maintenance, monitoring of the turtles and if the timing is right, counting baby turtles and releasing them.
Trip Highlights:
San Jose, Sea Turtle Conservation Project, Monteverde Cloud Forest, La Fortuna.
Good Luck!
