EGID080526: Greek Island Discovery - May 26

I have just booked the Greek Island Discovery adventure leaving at the end of May and would love any advice or suggestions from anyone who has done this tour. I see that hiking boots are recommended, but wondered if good walking shoes would suffice (easier to pack). Anything you can recommend about the Greece tours would be appreciated.

The terrain in Greece is quite rugged so any type of durable shoe would be wise. Even a hiking shoe would be great, as this would probably be the same size as a walking shoe. Other then that, pack a ton of SPF and keep yourself hydrated as this is a hot climate!

Hi, I am also going on the Greek Island Adventure, but the week prior. I am wondering where to find info on ferries? I can only find very basic info and have also read it is wise to book weeks in advance while a travel agaent I spoke with, who hasn't been to Greece suggested I just book once I get there..?!

It was suggested to me that you book ahead of time, though that may be recommended for the summer high season. However, here's an excellent website where you can book and get more information:
