Hi

Has anyone been on the Volunteer Peru Amazon trip? I am thinking of going in March 2014 and would appreciate anyone who has been and can share their experiences.

Thanks to all who respond.

I did it and personally I hated it and left early. However that is because I had a completely different image in my mind. The other girl there loved it. Just be ready for humidity like you've never felt, a million misquitos wherever you go, and there is a tarantula that lives by the rooms you sleep in. Some people like it, I pretty much wasted my money. Be prepared that you don't really get to interact with a lot of animals.
