Weather for Torres del Paine

Postby roundtheworld » Thu Mar 14, 2013 1:29 pm

Has anyone traveled to the "End of the Earth" in early November?
From doing research, the warmest time is Jan/Feb. What is the visibility like in early November? Is it worth taking a chance at that time to experience and see the park?
Thanks for your help. Pat

I was there in December, and I had a great experience, clear skies and with very calm winds. I have friends from Chile that told me I was very lucky. The weather in Torres de Paine is totally unpredictable and is a 50/50 change to see it clear and I hear is extremely windy sometimes. During December it was a little cold. If you are going in November, I will recommend you to have something warm to wear and a nice sleeping bag. The park is beatifull. Hope this will help and good luck.
