1 day inca trail hike on peru explorer

I am considering doing the peru explorer trip. It has the option of doing a 1 day hiking trip on the inca trail. How does this hike compare to the regular inca trail hike? Obviously it is less strenous as it is only one day. How long is it, how difficult is it, and do the views make it worth it?
