Do we need crampons for "End of the earth" SAPE?
This is the description taken from the trip guide (two day hike in this region):
...El Chaltén. Enjoy a full-day hike within Glacier National Park’s northern end, where granite pinnacles spiral upward into the sky from the third largest ice field on earth. Hike to Laguna de Los Tres to fully appreciate majestic Cerro Fitzroy/Chaltén (3441 m), and to Laguna Torre for inspiring views of these magical peaks and glaciers.

The question is, do we need crampons at all? And if we do, should we buy them from home or we can rent-per-day them?
Thank you,
Paul

Hi Paul, great trip planned! The only time you'll need crampons is when you're doing a glacier trek such as on Perito Moreno but all the equipment including crampons are included.
You'll have an awesome time.
Happy Travels!
