Patagonia Chile

Hello, I am preparing for my trip to go hiking in Patagonia, Chile and was wondering if the bugs/mosquitoes are bad in that region. Should I pack bug spray?

In general I had no problem with bugs during my trip to patagonia. I remember couple of instances were the weather was a little warm and we had lots of horse flies around (one of the places I remember was Fitz Roy). Mosquito repelent does not work on horse flies (I tried). Enjoy your trip
