Have you been on the Bolivia Discovery?

Postby dirtslinger » Wed Apr 20, 2011 11:12 pm

I've been wanting to go to Bolivia for about 10 years, ever since seeing it across the lake from Peru! I'm now able to go next winter... and the trip through Gap looks... pretty boring! Museums, colonial buildings etc.
Please tell me about your trip! Was it exciting?
Was the 3 day salt flats trip full of surprises or pretty much a big salty...flats?
Potosi, Sucre, how was your time there? Was there lots to see?
Thanks for any tips!

I liked Bolivia, the food was good. The people amazing for the poorest county in South America.

The salt flats were amazing, the size was immense, and the landscapes are epic.

Some of my favorite pictures are from our time in Bolivia.
