Peru Photography Tour

Postby PaulTeolis » Sat Jan 08, 2011 12:44 am

We're excited!

Gap is allowing us to cross post this announcement on their forums as this news should be appearing in their upcoming January newsletter. We have been advertising this on our blogs and to our photography clientele as well, but figure there might also be some interest here.

I know everyone travelling wants to take better pictures.

I have been working closely with Tricia Madill of Gap Adventure's Custom Group's Department and we put a unique trip together in Peru that should introduce photographers to the many extraordinary sights and sounds of the local culture. I have teamed up with fellow photographer Louis Au, master educator and technology guru at Canada's largest stock photo agency, Masterfile Corporation, and he will be the other photographer joining us on this trip.

Gap Adventures will handle all our bookings and logistics as they do best, leaving us to handle the photographers. As on all Gap trips there will be a trek leader joining us.

For more info and details, please check this link

Besides travelling in small region of Peru, we will be teaching production workflow in the field, technical and creative tips and also have a lot of fun along the way. We want photographers to leave with an edited body of work, and at least 1 master shot that you can put on the wall!

Gap Adventures introduced me to travel in 1993 with my first trip to Ecuador and I've never stopped travelling with them, on either custom or group trips. Seeing the globe with them over the years has indeed been life changing for me.

You'll find some of my photographs in the upcoming 2011 Antarctica brochure, and there are several blog articles on their Travel Oasis blog I have written. And you might even find my photo somewhere on their site.

If you have any questions, feel free to email us privately or post on the forum.

many thanks
paul

A few more spots available for the May departure. You can direct any questions to myself or Tricia
at Gap adventures on the link below.

This should be a great change to improve your photography and travel in a culturally rich
part of Peru.

Hi Paul - I'm definitely interested in the Peru Photography Tour but I'm already booked on another trip for early May. Will you be offering another such tour later in the summer/fall?

Thanks,
Dave
