How to pack for LA to San Fran Express

Postby lucy.ingall.3 » Tue Apr 15, 2014 10:54 pm

I'm from Australia and I'm booked in to go on the La to San Fran Express tour in August....I'm just wondering how I should pack for this tour? Im going to be in La a week before the tour begins and San Fran for a week after, before heading back to LA to fly home. Obviously Im going to be buying a lot of stuff in LA haha, but I'm just wondering if it is wise to leave most of it behind in LA and take minimal stuff on the tour in a backpack?

If your starting and ending hotels are the same you can probably leave your shopping with them with out too much trouble.

Just remember what Mark Twain allegedly said,
The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in San Francisco.

I would contact the hotel and see what their policy is on leaving stuff behind or having things available for pick up. I have done something similar where everything I bought in one city I shipped to my next city using something like UPS/DHL/FEDX to move it from location to location.
