Snorkelling in Greece

I will be on the Santorini to Santorini sailing trip starting on June 30. Will there be any good places to go snorkelling. Should I use my precious luggage space to carry snorkelling equipment or is it not worth it?

Normally there is a limited supply of equipment on the boats. I would leave mine at home to save the space. On most islands the snorkelling options are limited.
