Greek ferries

I' am going on the Greek Island Sailing Adventure - Santorini to Mykonos - 22 June, and I'am going to travel by ferry between Athens and Santorini/Mykonos. Does anybody know if it is necessary to buy ferry's tickets in advance, or can I buy them at the moment?

I've always brought my ticket on the day but then I wasn't joining a trip and do remember there can be a few delays. But if you have enough time before joining your trip then you could purchase the ticket(s) when you get to Athens (either yourself or from a local travel agent).
