Munich for 9 hours!

Hi there!
on my way to Africa to join my GAP group, I have a 9 hour wait in Munich. The airport is about an hour away from downtown, so let's say I have 4-5 hours to spare. Any suggestions as to what to see/do?!

The most obvious is:
go to the Marienplatz, which is the city center, and walk around there a bit. There are restaurants and cafés around and there is the Viktualienmarkt (outdoor market) where you can get very good food and snacks.
The city center is easily reached from the airport by S-Bahn and you always stay close to an S-Bahn stop so can get back to the airport quickly.

When you have nice wheather, there are several churches that allow you to climb up on the bell towers. You may be lucky and see the Alps.
