Portugal, September or October

Postby MMARKS » Sat May 10, 2008 1:22 pm

I want to take the Spain and Portugal Highlights in either September or October. There are 3-4 trips during that time period, is there anything interesting going on (a festival, etc.), that I should pick one trip over another.

I'm leaning towards the October 9 trip. I understand the beginning of October marks the end of the high season and the weather should be noticablly cooler than August / September.

Thank you for any comments.

best regards,
Michael.

Hi Michael,
It's a bit of a long shot to have your itinerary coincide with local festivities.
But browse the pages at this site for Portugal-

And Spain here,-

Now , cross your fingers and hope you are in Valencia for the great Tomato fight!
