The Best of Eastern Europe

Postby laura20jaques » Wed May 07, 2014 6:41 pm

I really have my heart set on booking The Best of Eastern Europe tour. The only thing is, I'm female, early 20s, not much traveling experience and it's looking as though my only option is to go solo. I'm wondering if anyone could give me some info regarding this trip specifically, is it one worth going on alone? Obviously one of the biggest concerns for me and my family is security and safety, is this much of an issue in Eastern Europe/the countries and cities this tour brings you through?
Thanks!

If there's one thing you won't be on a G Adventures trip and that is alone...unless you choose to be so don't worry about this aspect. I do like the itinerary and the cities covered are safe to travel to plus you just need to be aware of your surroundings, keep bags close to you, valuables safe...just like you would in any other city.

I'd say go for it!
DO THE RIGHT THING ...all the time, every time!

I am doing this trip in June and I am a female solo traveler. Though this my first trip with g adventures, it is not my first trip traveling on my own to Europe (with a tour and without a tour). Europe is such a tourist hot spot, you really never alone. I have traveled to Europe numerous time. Just be careful of your surroundings like you would at home when you go out. I always like to study places I am going to visit. You should go to sites like Lonelyplanet, tripadviser, frommers to give you some info and advise.

Hi Laura,
I've also not had much experience travelling solo but have booked this tour for 6th July solo as I loved the sound of it and if you can't get out your comfort zone in your 20's when can you :p I'm 25! Unfortunately I think 6th July is fully booked or we could have been solo together haha!

Good luck! :)
