Trekking in the Dolomites

Postby jodieleigh » Sun Mar 23, 2014 2:20 pm

I am strongly considering joining the group who will be trekking in the Dolomites in July.

Two years ago, I did the Tour du Mont Blanc and it was absolutely amazing. I feel like I have a very good idea of how this trek will be. But, since I'm not able to find any reviews by people who've done this trek already, I thought I'd ask for some feedback.

What was the trek like for you?
What were the best parts?
What were the most challenging parts?
What were the refuges like?
How was the food?
What is your favourite memory of the trip?

This is partly information-gathering and partly so I can daydream about the any replies would be greatly appreciated!
