Has anyone done the Loire Valley Cycling trip in France? I am wondering how difficult the cycling is and how much technical skill is required?

Hello

I did this trip in August of this year. I had basically no prior long distance cycling experience and I found it perfectly fine. In fact, I hadn't properly ridden a bike in years. The cycling is not too strenous - I think the longest day was around 40-50km. I do go for long walks and short runs regularly so consider myself reasonably fit, but I think as long as you exercise on a regular basis you should be fine.

The trip itself is incredible. Such amazing food, and the scenery is amazing. The Chateaus are simply astonishing. I would highly recommend this trip!
