Luggage of Amalfi Coast

Any suggestions for luggage for the Amalfi Coast trip. I am debating between a back pack, a duffle, a rolling suitcase?

I am going on this trip as well and I'm planning to bring a backpack. Don't know if that helps but that is my plan!

We took rolling suitcases. No problems.
