Monglian Siberian Express

I'm travelling on the Monglian/Siberian Express from Being to St. Petersburg in May 2012. I was wondering about the train itself. Do the train windows open and is the temperature on the train and in the cabins well regulated. i.e. does the train get very hot? Should I bring my small little personal battery powered fan. I'm hoping I won't broil in the cabin.
