CCC cuba colonial

Postby roxanvs » Sat Mar 23, 2013 7:25 am

Hi everybody,

I'm going on the Cuba Colonial trip and I was wondering what luggage to take?

Will a backpack be more convenient than a trolley suitcase? I don't know if the luggage stays in the hotel or at the homestay or that you have to take it along with you.

Thanks in advance

Roxan

hola, we took this trip early this year and loved it! our group was about 50/50 split between backpacks and suitcases. your luggage stays in the hotels and casas, but in the case of the casas you will have to carry/pull it sometimes a few blocks, so just make sure you can manage whatever you bring! hope this helps. deb

Some places you had to walk up stairs with your luggage, so if you can handle the load you can take a wheeled suitcase. i noticed some people on my trip really struggled with theirs...especially when walking a few blocks on cobbled stones and taking the stairs.
