I have a few questions?


Do I need a special vaccination or malaria medication for the trip??

Is anyone staying in Playa del Carmen from 5th to 12th January, I'm looking urgently for a room mate?

Hi Kathi,

My partner and I will be on this trip. The only vaccination recommended is Hepatitis A. I know there is Typhoid Fever, but I understand the vaccination isn't very effective.

I did this trip in September this year and didn't get any shots - you should be fine

By the way, it was amazing!!

I spoke to my dr about shots recommended. She has sent me to have blood tests to check my Hep A and B immunity status. There is also typhoid but we are starting with the bloods and going from there. She said they give me a kit with maleria tabs, certain antibiotics etc in case i get sick so I say go chat to your dr and see what he she says.
