CMAY - Active Yucatan Jungle and Ruins

Postby scarl » Thu Nov 04, 2010 7:44 pm

Well, it is almost a year late, but I ended up booking for (CMAY) "Active Yucatan Jungle and Ruins" in two weeks. I haven't seen many (any :?: ) posts or travel blogs mentioning this tour, so I don't know what to expect (other than what the trip description mentions). I had been looking at Mexico or Egypt back in January, but it didn't pan out with work.

If anyone has been on this trip, I could use some advice vis-a-vis the camping portion and camera equipment. I am mainly trying to figure out how to ration my batteries, and whether or not it might be worth lugging an underwater housing for my HD Camcorder (i.e. is the snorking that good?) Also, I would welcome any advice regarding "must do" optional side activities on this trip!

When I get back, I'll post a ton of info for the next guy or gal. :-)
