Postby pommystuart » Tue May 28, 2013 12:51 am

Hi to you from Downunder.
I am looking forward to this trip and would like to here from others who are going.
I am a (or will be by then) 65 years young male originally from England and now living in Australia.
I have taken the kayaking option and am now learning to paddle around Sydney Harbor. (well someone has to have all the fun :D )

Look forward to hearing from you here and meeting you all in Ushuaia on the 6th Nov.

Stuart.

Hello,

I'm on that expedition ! I'm from Brisbane . The anticipation is starting to build with all the planing
of my South Americana Adventure ! I'm not kayaking although I would love to just for a day or so, but that is not an option. I am camping though ! :)

Hi William_J
I am also going to BA for 3 days after the cruise but flying there.
Onwards then to the Matchu Picchu area for 6 days.

Has anybody worked out how to size the free jacket from the measurements given, my tailor could not. :?

Only 2 month to go. :D

@pommy
Machu Pichu is great, are you planning to walk the inca trail? We walked the inca trail in 2010 and it was sure worth it!

@gail
9 weeks is good :-) we will start with Antarctica instead of ending with it. But your start in the Galapagos is very cool too. Which islands are you going to visit? And did you already booked a boat or not? If not I can recommend the boat named Encantada (http://www.galapagosisland.net/cruises/ ... tures.html).

@both
We didn't figured the jackets out, we will start measuring someday soon ;-)

Hi Gaail.
Lucky you 9 weeks. I hope you haven't forgotten you need a Yellow Fever injection and a sticker in your passport before you can come back in to AU.

Had my Compulsory Yellow Fewer jab today :cry: , Had to go to specialists place for it.

Hi William, Unfortunately I cannot be away for longer than about 3 weeks so I am having to do the quick version. Still I hope there will be another time. I hope to talk with fellow (and lady) passengers for polite suggestions as to where to go. :wink:

Dear All,

My husband Kevin and I will be spending our honeymoon on this trip and are so excited to start the trip of a lifetime and get to know you all on board.

We were married on the 26th October in Yorkshire, England (we live in London) and fly to BA this Friday for a few days before we travel to meet the boat.

I am sure we are all going to have the adventure of our lives - is anyone else camping on the trip?

Laure my husband is a keen amateur photographer so I am sure he will enjoying speaking to you and picking up tips along the way :D

Look forward to hearing from you as the excitement builds,
Gemma
