Hi Everyone! :)

I just confirmed my spot on the Antarctica Classic In Depth - November, 17 2014 expedition.

I'm a 22yr old female travelling solo so I was hoping to get to know a few people before we depart :)

Hey, I've been looking at doing this one too :D but I am trying to hold off booking until the local travel expo in a month, if like last time they had discounts :D so hopefully I'll be booked within the month

I would be going solo too

I'm also booked (solo) on this trip :D
I'll be travelling a day earlier to enjoy the Ushaia scenery and to make sure I don't miss the boat

Something to look out for in the next 11 months!

I'll be arriving (hopefully) 2 days before, i'm aiming for the 15th to arrive in Ushuaia. I think i want to do a national park trip or horse riding or something for the 16th but i'm really not sure yet!

Where are you looking at staying for the one day you arrive before?
I've had a look at a couple hostels in the area (on a budget! haha) and they look pretty good :)

I'm so excited for november!

I am also looking to see what is around the area to do

good idea! :) i thinkkk its only about 20 campers per expedition, they would fill up pretty quickly i think! :(

I really hope we get to do the plunge! haha i'll probably suffocate from the cold but its definitely an experience not to miss :D

I wont be travelling before hand i don't think...but i'm considering a small trip after wards.

Not entirely sure where yet though :( i have my heart set on Patagonia but i also really want to go and see Iuazu falls too :(

What about you?

Still not 100% sure on what I'm doing yet but hopefully I'll have some time pre/post to do something else, was thinking maybe a little of Patagonia but not sure

It's that time of year when I got big bills due and I gotta sorta that out before I book my trip so hopefully there will still be a spot on the trip for when I can book :?

Where you from??

I've also booked the camping trip. That was a no brainer for me.
It must be so cool to actually sleep on the continent.
Although I don't think there will be much sleeping with the daylight and the excitement :D

My hotel for the 16th is booked.
I'm trying to go to the national park on the 17th before the cruise departure, just a half day trip.
On the way back I fly straight to Buenos Aires to stay one night.
And the next day going back home.
Depending on my mood I might do a quick city tour in Buenos Aires.

Btw, I am from Belgium.

I'm from Australia :)

I can't imagine much sleeping happening during the camping either haha I'm so excited about it all already!

I'm so un-decisive about before/after tours :(

I booked this trip and will arrive in Ushuaia on Nov. 15. Solo. Can anyone tell me what's the camping package you are talking about is? I only saw a kayak package. Before cruise I have one full day to explore Argentina NPs.After cruise I plan to go to Torres del Paine Chile to hike W trek. Most likely I will go to Punta Arenas by bus. I have to leave Punta Arenas on Dec. 5. If someone has the same interest that will be great. I can take flight, take bus or share renting car if possible.

Hey the camping option is on booking page, you just need to tick the box (it's about $250). If already booked then contact gadventures and they should hopefully be able to add it on for you if you want to do it.

Yay more people going so exciting :D I don't know what I'm doing after yet, I want to do iguazu falls at some stage :D
