Fiji tours . . . help!

I am off to Fiji for 10 days in Jan and was looking to book some sort of island hopping tour. Im on a bit of a budget so looking for something that isnt too expenive.

I think someone told me that it is cheaper to book these kind of tours when i get to Fiji rather than booking them in advance? is this the case?

If anyone has been to Fiji and can give me some advice it would be very much appreciated!

I'm going to Fiji in May but I booked a Fiji awesome tour for 6 nights! But you can go longer and in my opnion it isn't that expensive...
So Fiji Awesome it is! Haha
