As long as you are fairly fit you will be fine, there are plenty of steps up to dead woman's pass, so be prepared. Most mornings you get up at 4, 5, 6 am. Make sure you drink coca tea. Enjoy the experience it is great, our CEO was Rivelino and he was superb.

Hello, My husband and daughter will be walking the Inca Trail in October. I think the tour leaves on23 or 24 october- we meet in a hotel in cusco on 22nd. I cannot walk the trail so will be staying inthe hotel and joining the group on the last day by train and bus- anyone else staying in Cusco for the first few days?
