Hello everyone!
Just logged on out of curiosity as the departure date for the trip is now just around the corner. I'm originally from Glasgow, Scotland but have been living in Newcastle-on-Tyne, England for many years.
I too, am in the over-50's bracket - but hey! who's counting?!!
Looking forward to the trip and to meeting up with my fellow travellers. I will be arriving on the day and hope to make the initial group meeting on time - if not, just look out for a lone traveller scurrying to reception to check in!

Hi everyone,

Me and my dad are from morecambe, UK. We will be landing in Tokyo on Monday 1st October at 17:30 and will hopefully get to the hotel for about 19:30. Hope we make the welcome meeting. We should have booked an extra night beforehand really to make the most of Tokyo but never mind. Logan we are flying from Manchester with emirates what about you? We too might be scurrying to reception to check in

Can't wait to meet everyone and celebrate my birthday on the 14th.

I'm so excited only 6 more sleeps

Hi Leafyrobbo - or may I call you Leafy?!
I'm due to arrive in Tokyo around the same time. I'll be travelling from Newcastle but if you're flying via Dubai then it looks as though we are on the same flight! Perhaps we'll bump into each other on boarding - at the very least we'll hopefully get on the same limousine-bus that takes us straight to the hotel. If any of our other fellow travellers also happen to be on the same flight then we can at least have a group scurry to reception!!

Yeah Leafy is fine, that's what my nickname is. Yes we are flying via Dubai and hopefully we will make the 18:10 limousine bus if baggage is quick. Wish I was travelling first class though, it looks amazing.
