Hi there,
I get into Kathmandu on the 29th too. Seemed like a good idea to give myself an evening and night to chill. I'm looking forward to it aswell
Think I've got everything I need - just a case of packing and priniting out any paper work.. How about you? you all set? Jnae

Yes, it's definitely comfortable to arrive a day earlier before the start of the tour.
I have almost everything I need, maybe I only want to buy some extra clothing. Furthermore I have some doubts whether I bring my own sleeping bag or rent one.
Where are you from? I''m from the Netherlands.

I'm from Scotland so bearing in mind we're travelling all the way to Nepal we live pretty close to each other! I've bought a nice four season sleeping bag so I'm bringing that one. I think I need to get some more light trousers and tee - shirts too. If you don't mind me asking - what is the most secure way to carry money/cards etc? Do you know of any good quality money belts etc that can be purchased?

I would recommend to use a neck wallet which is more comfortable if you're walking/trekking. In a neck wallet you can easily strore your passport, credit cards and cash (only larger bills otherwise it can get a bit heavy)
I think you can buy one in any travel store or at the airport.

Hey guys I'm also on the EBC trip. I'm arriving around 8am on the Sunday and have over 17 hours to chill in Oman beforehand. First time travelling alone but really looking forward to it! To save room in my back pack I was thinking maybe easier to hire a sleeping bag? Also is anyone taking a down jacket? I'm tempted to hire one too...
Look forward to meeting you guys there.
