Hi,
I have booked this trip for later this year, so was wondering if anyone else has done the same?
Thanks

Hi Lucinda,
Me and my sister are also arriving on the 1st of August and staying for two nights in Delhi before the trip starts
Have you any plans for those couple of days?
Also I was wondering what clothing options you are thinking of taking?
Thanks
Siobhan

Hi Siobhan,
I'm pleased to hear that there will be other people in Delhi prior to the trip. I'm staying in the hotel where the tour departs from for the two nights before. How about you to?
I'm planing on booking on a days tour of Delhi on the 2nd August. I've been looking at the Intrepid website as they have two day tours, i just can't decide which one to book. How about you two? I'm a little wary of trying to see Delhi on my own so i thought i'd book a day tour.
I'm from the UK and flying in from Heathrow, how about you?
I'm planing on packing lightweight clothes. A couple of long skirts for temples and generally things which are quick drying as it will be monsoon season. I'm also going to take waterproof trousers and a coat. Also a scarf to cover my head for mosques and temples.
Do you have any trip tips? Have you been to India or Nepal before? It's a first for me, although i have travelled to a lot of other countries in Asia.

Hi,
We are staying in 'Hotel Perfect' which G Adventures booked for us, I'm not sure if this is the departing hotel?
Going on a group tour sounds the safest option and you will probably get to see most that way; me and my sister would like to do something similar so I will have a look at the Intrepid website and we could possibly try and do something together if you wanted?
We are also from the UK, and flying from Heathrow!
Clothing wise I had very similar ideas, things that cover my shoulders and knees and that dry quickly! Although packing light as staying in Kathmandu for an extra 2 weeks after the tour finishes so will need a little more!
You will know much more than me as this is my first proper 'travelling' holiday outside the beach and sunbathing type! So a totally new experience, but incredibly exited!
