Hi All!
I am booked on this tour as well! My husband and I (he is coming too) have travelled with G Adventures to China and Peru and loved both trips. This time we are bringing his parents along with us! We are 29/31/50s, all from Alberta, Canada.

Hi Everyone,

What size backpack is everyone taking? I'm thinking of getting a 50L. Will that be enough?

I don't plan to bring that much stuff just clothes and essentials.

Are there any other must haves that G Adventures didn't mention?

Sorry for all the questions!

Hey!
I'm not sure as this is my first travelling tour trip. I bought a suitcase with a detachable backpack becuase of the constant go. Here is a link to the suitcase I bought:

http://www.sierratradingpost.com/high-s ... k~p~4748d/

The suitcase also has straps to carry on your back.
As for clothes, I'm packing light. A lot of leggings (tights) because they don't take a lot of room. Two pairs of shoes, toiletries and other necessary essentials. oh, and also a light jacket and a heavier one for going up to the mountains.

I'm pretty much guessing as again this is my first vacation where I'm on the go every couple of days. Hope this helps!

Still trying to decide between the suitcase and backpack! Usually I travel with a 50L Osprey pack. I TRY not to fill it, although always seem to fill the space that I have. Travis has opted to take his 36L suitcase for this trip (http://ca.dakine.com/p/kite/luggage/201 ... roller-36l). On the trips I've done in the past, most people tend to travel with packs, although as long as you pack light enough it really is fine either way. Just make sure you are able to carrry up stairs and hoist it on/off the train!
We leave for Europe next weekend! Getting excited!

Thanks for all the advice!

I decided to go with this one http://uk.thenorthface.com/tnf-uk-en/al ... ack-1.html as well as a small day pack that folds up in a pouch.

See you all in Berlin!
