Hi Scott,

I'm booked on the Indochina Encompassed which starts in Bangkok on the 2nd March, I'm not sure but I think as this is a combined trip we may be losing some travellers and gaining some in Hanoi, if this is the case we may be meeting up.

I'm from Ireland so it will be mandatory to wear green and wet the shamrock on Paddies Day

It looks like we meet up in Hanoi on March 14th. We did a Thailand trip a couple of years ago and loved it. If you have not been to Chiang Mai, then you must get a massage at the women's prison. I think it's about $10. The prison also has a restaurant were the inmates cook and serve. We did and it was great.

I will pack some green clothes and we can let the beer flow on Paddies Day.

Hi Scott,

Great tip, I'll def try the massage, I've been to Bangkok before but never Chiang Mai so it's nice to get a tip. I'll be in Bangkok for two nights before the tour begins, I don't know if that was a good idea as I didn't care for Bangkok the first time I was there, but I didn't want to start the tour exhausted so thought "what the hell" .
