I have been following ship on twitter whilst it is down in Antarctica and loving the comments and photos. Only 11 months until we go...it is going to need be a long wait. Anyone else booked?

Hey Lesleyb,
I've booked this trip, and I'm counting down the weeks.
Booking my flights tomorrow with a travel agent.
Sounds like I should join Twitter as well.
Cheers,
John....

John, the MS Expedition finished its tour of Antarctica yesterday! If you look through the photos though it gives you a great idea of what they get up to though. TripAdvisor has some great reports about daily, ife of the ship if you need more details.
We are looking at flights at the moment and trying to decide if we stop anywhere on the way down to fit in some hiking possibly....

Flights booked. BA for a few nights then onto El Chalten for 4 days hiking. Hoping to have 2 nights in Ushuaia at Albatross before getting on the boat.
There are only 3 of us on this forum....surely someone else must be on the ship :)

Hey lesleyb,
I agree this forum is a bit light on contributors!
Your hiking location looks fantastic.
I'll be arriving on "Day 1" of the tour in the morning after the long haul and large layover times in BA and Santaigo via Melbourne.
Just purchased my clothing, layers etc while they were on sale.
Found some great pics of South Georgia lately on the South Georgia Association's
Facebook page if you haven't checked it out already....
The countdown continues...

Yes there must be more than three of us. I will be traveling with two young women so that makes five.

I will arrive in BA on 8th and then fly to Ushuaia on 9th. Just booked flights yesterday.

When it comes to clothes and layers i'm all set because I live in Finland and it's -30°C in here every winter anyway...

Morning folks!

I'm booked on this adventure as well and can't wait, we are down to 5.5 months now :D .

I'm travelling by myself but get to have 3 weeks in Peru before we start. Its making the packing thought process challenging as I need to have clothes for mid 20's and hiking (Inca trail), down to our cold weather gear. I've made the most of some of the sales though!
