CMTM Mayan Trail- Feb 11
Hola todos!
I plan to tackle a wee bit more Spanish before we hit the trail.
This is my third G-tour and I can't wait!
So far there appears to be 12 of us signed up.
I'll be traveling with my.... wait for it.... 15 year old great niece! 8-O
No worries, Abbi is OK. Air cadet, bag piper, eater of *anything*....
And, no, I'm not geriatric. She is my older partner's WAY older brother's daughter's daughter.
Hope to hear from any of our travel mates....
Cheers,
Mags

Hi; I'm actually taking CAM - Mayan Adventure departing Feb 11 so we will be together for your entire trip - then I continue on for another 10 days. Looking forward to the trip.

Great to hear from you, Rambler7. Yes, looking forward to it, too! We will be in Mexico City for 4 nights before we fly to Cancun on Saturday and meet you and the rest of our crew. Two more days before we take off......

We have booked the Mayan Trail with our kids (aged 13 & 16) for August so would be interested in how you get on.
We have travelled before (asia, India etc.) with a private tour as a family & a 6 hour journey is no problem but I am a bit aprehensive travelling with a group & a couple of the 9/10 hour stints is a long time but I always find watching local life pass you by fascinating and makes the journey fly by.
I would be interested in how you find the travel & accomodation which I am sure will be basic but OK although but I have seen some poor reviews on line for similar trips with others.
Have fun!
