Night Buses on Great South American Journey

Postby mike » Sun Mar 25, 2007 4:27 pm

Hi,

I'm planning on taking the Great South American Journey from Lima to Rio and noticed that 7 nights are on 'night buses' - I just wondered if anybody could tell me what kind of bus this is, is it a standard coach or some kind of adapted transport? Need to have an idea before I book due to a minor medical condition with my neck.

Thanks in advance

Overnight Bus

Postby jodiw » Mon Mar 26, 2007 11:37 am

Hi Mike!

I have recently returned from the Bolivia Crossing and we had an overnight bus to La Paz and I've got to tell you it was WAY more comfortable then I had expected! The buses are similar to our Greyhound fleet except the seats fully reclined so you could actually sleep! They played an english movie with Spanish subtitles and although there were no bathrooms on board, they do make a few stops along the way.

Hope this helps!
