Two hiking poles for sure! Can't think how many times I was grateful to have them.
I took thin light gloves, was nice to have at night around camp
If it does not bring you joy, why are you doing it?

Concur: 2 hiking poles. And, if you have never used them before, be sure you adjust them to the right height and put your hands thru the loops the right direction. See this link for lots of info:

Not really winter down there in March... southern hemisphere is opposite. But, you are at altitude. Cusco is higher than MP, which can be warm and a little humid.
