Backroads of Japan itinerary

Hi,

I am booked on to AJMS Backroads of Japan departing on 18th May 2013. I was hoping to spend most of a day visiting the Studio Ghibli museum whilst in Tokyo, and had booked my flight so that I had days to spare in Tokyo at the end of the trip, however the museum has since released that they will be closed for maintenance the time I was hoping to go.
It looks like from the trip itinerary that Day 3 of the trip in Tokyo is a free day, is this correct?
I can book Studio Ghibli tickets from 1st Feb and if there are no planned trips that day I will book a ticket for then. Also hoping to catch some of the May tournament sumo, which I may have to do on Day 1 before the welcome chat in the evening!

Hi Bethany,

Just looked at your itinerary and yes day 3 is free and it seems day 2 includes the Modern Tokyo Walking Tour. So you'll find time to do your own activities.
