Inca empire - a few queries
Hello!
I'll be going on the next Inca Empire tour from Lima to La Paz and have a few questions.
I am not doing the Inca trail and am taking the train instead. What is the exact itinerary for days 4 - 8? I'm not sure if I'll be visiting the Sacred Valley.
For luggage, I wanted to bring a holdall rather than a backpack. From the itinerary, it doesn't seem like there will be too much walking with luggage. So do you think this is OK or would a backpack be preferable for this tour?
Will workout trainers or Timbaland boots be suitable for this tour?
Thanks for any advice you may have!
Kind regards,
Daphne

Re: Inca empire - a few queries
hi
When i did the Inca trail the people who did not do the trek traveled with us to the sacred valley & Ollantaytambo then on the morning we started the hike they went back to Cuzco, they then caught the train & meet us at Machu Pichu. A holdall should be fine as you don't have to carry your luggage too far. Shoes are a personal choice but I think trainers should be fine
