Plug Adapters - SOUTH AMERICA

Hello folks,

So I'm travelling to South America (Peru, Bolivia & Brazil) in a few weeks and am in need of a plug adapter (to charge my ipod and camera battery...and possibly kindle), what would you advise?!

From the looks of things they appear to use European 2-pronged styles, is that right? Are there any brands/types of adapters that you would recommend?

In Peru the plugs are two round plugs. A lot of the outlets could also accomodate two flat prongs (North American style that aren't grounded). They are 220 volt so if you are from North America you need to check your devices to make sure they are dual voltage - most electronics are.

I spent some time in Brazil (Rio, Porto Alegre, couple other small cities). I had brought an adapter but didn't need it. I used my electronics from North America (120V with two flat prongs) with no converter/adapter. There was one city I visited which had 220V, but the outlet still fit the flat prong plug. Many of the outlets had openings that would fit multiple styles of plugs.
