When does G need our passport info?

I have to renew my passport before my trip. Since it will be a different passport number than my current one, I can't give G Adventures my passport number. How far in advance do they need to know it?

i would say it depends on what trip you are going on. If they need to book permits as required on thr Inca trail it is important that your new passport number is on the permit, 1 of the guys on our trip had the wrong number on his permit & it took our guide quite a time to convince the staff to allow the guy to be let through the control point.

Here's a thought.... Why not call G adventures directly as speak to a customer service rep for an answer??
